Light Scattering & UV Protective Lacquers

Precision screen printing – protecting and decorating PET foils!
Take a look at a true showcase piece of our screen printing technology, where function and design come together beautifully on polyester foil.
At the heart of it are our UV-curing screen printing lacquers, which reliably protect the window areas of the PET foil:
🔹 Left: the transparent version of our weather-resistant protective lacquer NoriCure® ORL-1
 🔹 Right: the highly abrasion- and scratch-resistant, extremely chemical-resistant UV protective lacquer NoriCure® HC-1 in a matte finish
The color design on the reverse side was printed using NoriPET®, our two-component screen printing ink – perfectly suited for printing on polyester foils and deliberately formulated without aromatic solvents or cyclohexanone.
A special detail: the square areas were backed with the Light Scattering Lacquer NoriPET® 093/800. This ensures that underlying LED light sources are diffused evenly and homogeneously.
This ink system and these screen printing lacquers are primarily used in the production and decoration of membrane switches, i.e. membrane keypads.
